Blessed Trinity Parrish Festival Succeeds For The 59th Time

Hard to believe the Blessed Trinity Parish festival just celebrated
its 59th anniversary! I remember going when I was a student there
and it was a magical time. I feel honored to have been able to
play on the stage at the festival the last decade. In fact, my band,
Out of the Ashes, had its debut show on that very stage three years
ago. This past weekend’s event was a good one, even though
mother nature tried to ruin it. Parish music director Noel Pareda
had the stage full of music from beginning to end, and had his
current band, Allies on prime time Saturday night. They sounded
great. The food sold by the parishioners was very tasty. It was
nice to see an expanded vendor section. Nowadays I’m a bit too
old for the rides, but they looked as exciting as ever. I do
appreciate having this carnival in our little paradise, it’s just
enough to hold us over until River Cities Festival time in April!
