On the last day of July, Woody’s Backyard Grill (600 Payne Dr. Miami Springs) was buzzing on the west side of Miami Springs as the upbeat sound of Allies filled the night air. From the first notes, the band’s classic energy carried through the venue—an easy reminder of why live music nights can turn an ordinary evening into a community get-together.
Allies has been together for a year and a half, building their sound and sharpening their performance as a group, and it shows more each time they take the stage. They rehearse once a week in the lead singer Noel’s garage, keeping their set fresh and their timing locked in, with Noel on lead vocals, Omar on lead guitar, Popi on drums, Eddie on bass, and Alain on keyboard.
