Join the Miami Springs Police Department for a family-friendly, light-pace run alongside your city’s police officers as the MSPD will host “Run With the Cops,” a 1.5 mile or 5K run on Saturday, Oct. 4. The meeting place will the the Miami Springs Community Center, 1401 Westward Drive, and meet time will be 7 a.m. with a “Take-off” time of 8 a.m.
This event is absolutley FREE as all ages are welcome to participate and enjoy a fun, safe community experience. You can choose your distance and awards will await the top three finishers in the 5K.
Bring your family, wear pink (for Breast Cancer Awareness Month) and run for a cause. Enjoy a free cup of coffee before taking off and fruits and refreshemnts will also be generously provided. Want to cool off after the run? Prince Field will be ready to go with a fun-filled day of music, face-painting, jump houses and more.
