Monday, December 1st 2025. It was a gorgeous clear night under the moonlight, and Mayor of Virginia Gardens Spencer Deno IV was the host. All of the VG council members were present in front of Virginia Gardens city hall along with State officials Dan Espino and Bryan Avila. Also Jorge Santin and Joseph Dion representing the Miami Springs city council were in attendance. There was a food truck in front with coffee for the parents and smoothies for the kids as it was a family event. This was the second annual Virginia Gardens Tree Lighting Ceremony and it was a huge success. A beautiful site on a lovely December night.
